  I saw one case: man had extended affair, plan to remarry, some in the congregation knew, only admitted it because he was caught . . . and yet he was privately reproved for 6 months. He is a charming ass kisser with a knack for 'theocratic' terminology, so that may have played a role. So again, it's anything three Elders can agree on basically. Don't expect there to be a fair, consistent standard as if they were, you know, directed by God's spirit or something.

  the truth is, if you dont worship jehovah, you're not worshipping anyone!

  Does any other denomination change Doctrines as often as JW's?

  would i err in stating most religions and denominations have set doctrines?and yet, the watchtower's version/rendition of christianity is riven with contradictions which stem from changing predictions, policies, doctrines, and interpretations seemingly adrift from foundation or principle.wouldn't you think the constant upheaval, sifting, churn, and reorganization bespeaks whim, mood, uncertainty, and wilful speculation more than divine guidance?there's something endemically jittery and insecure about this religion which i would opine has more than a little to do with unstable mental affect than mere whimsy.what's your take on this?.

  Paying Legal Fees Illegally?

  paying legal fees out of the world wide work fund is it legal to do it?

  first we need to know what the purpose is for having a www fund.. i'm not computer savvy or an "it" when it comes to putting information together to show here like so many others here can.. will someone explain how the watchtower society can legally use the www fund to pay out monies, legal fees and court directed payments to the one who have been sexually abused by pedophiles from the watchtower organization.. again what is the sole purpose in establishing the www fund?.

  is it not for kingdom interest world wide and not to use it to pay out their guilty criminal activity.

  Yes it's legal. But what would be great is if they were REQUIRED to announce to all congregations when a major expense was necessary, such as a legal judgment or an out of court settlement. Imagine how the contributions would drop if the R&F knew about all those tens of millions!

  How Would You Help A JW. Recognize They Do Not Have The Truth?

  that expression implies that what they say is the “truth “.

  how could you help a witness understand that they clearly do not have “the truth “?.

  It's a multifaceted process with rarely a shortcut. They may notice one thing wrong, or agree with another, but with each disturbing thing there are 5 more pre-programmed excuses, cliches, fallacies or distractions. It's only when the evidence adds up to the point that it outweighs the excuses or outright contradicts them that a person may wake up. But even then, they have to actually remember what they've learned so far, and many are psychologically unable, or unwilling to do so.

  a regular guy went into a vape store in georgia recently, to buy his wife some liquid for her e-cigarettes.

  his big mistake was to wear a trump t-shirt.

  the shop assistant went completely mental because of the t-shirt.. the customer remained calm throughout and eventually got the product he wanted (i think).. but what a scene!

  I just watched this the other day 😅

  The conservative did a few things towards the end to push the clerk's buttons, but who can blame him? The liberal was literally behaving like a child. Very unprofessional.

  after all, they had been serving at bethel for over 25 years.

  That's so ridiculous to call it being 'reassigned'. If you're fired from your job do they call it being 'reassigned' to home? What shows even more nerve is that besides being kicked out they're also told that they have to regular pioneer. Why should they get to do that?
